I had friends who lived in communes and that is my only experience of the living situation. I don’t think the band's house is nearly cluttered enough.
Also this is me making a conscious effort to make more of the main cast into different species to what they were in the original comic. Have their species dictate their personality a little more as well as straight up variety.
