I mean this "style" of discrimination in this story doesn't really come up again and isn't really part of the story for the most part. Mostly having fun poking at the surrealism of my characters going hunting regular animals as cover for an operation.
The animals as race metaphor never quite works anyway. see Zootopia and Blacksad: Arctic Nation 😅
Also I don't hunt in any capacity, despite an interest in firearms. So this is definitely riddled with issues for the sake of narrative no doubt.
