Had way too much fun with the lighting on this one.

But also the script called for Emma to use hand gestures here, but I never found military ones I could use with 100% certainty. I also battled to find South African Sign Language (SASL) dictionaries in the 5 odd years I was working on the script/comic. And then by some miracle, WITS University published a SASL dictionary without me noticing in the last couple years 😅

Anyway they didn't have "Contact" or "Essentials" so I had to go with Go/Gaan/Hamba 😂

The only SASL I knew before this page was curtesy of some BA Linguistics minor varsity friends in 2007... "Bad Lesbian Panda"
